LOS ANGELES, Calif.—(Business Wire) — April 14, 2005 Engine Clean Technology, Inc. Announces Sale of Assets to Investor Group Engine Clean Technology, Inc. (ECT) announced today that it has signed an agreement to sell its assets to a private investment group headed by Robert A. Doty who assumes the role of president.  Robert L. Fisher has been retained as director of international sales. Doty succeeds Robert E. Flynn, who will retire by the end of 2005.  Flynn will remain with the company for 6 months  to facilitate the transition.  Doty has 25 years prior experience in automotive aftermarket equipment sales and distribution in North American. During the past 8 years he has assisted several international companies and Asian governments on programs to control emissions from diesel and gasoline engines Fisher is the founder and president of ETCO, Inc., an international trading and consulting company which specializes in the export of automotive emission control equipment and technology. The new management team will focus on expanding the domestic and international customer base as well as new product design and development. Baldwin Park, CA based Engine Clean Technology, Inc. designs and manufactures patented automotive fluid transfer machines, engine system flushing equipment and proprietary cleaning solutions.  ECT builds under private label for name brand clients and sells through direct distribution under the ECT logo.
