A little over a year ago we added three new products to our line of automotive service equipment. During the product development phase we referred to the new products as "The Tools". The Oil Tool, The Fuel Tool, and The Diesel Fuel Tool. We knew that "The Tools" were going to be a successful addition to our product line but we were not prepared for the overwhelming response these new products received when they were introduced into the market place.
Now we are pleased to announce an addition to "The Tools." NEW HEAVY DUTY DIESEL FUEL SYSTEM SERVICE During normal diesel engine operation, fuel and combustion contaminants accumulate in the fuel system, combustion areas, and in exhaust after-treatment systems. This
causes rough idle, loss of power, decreased
mileage, increased smoke, and slow throttle
response. On newer diesels it may also
trigger a OBD check engine light which
signals the build of back pressure in the
particulate reactor. Unlike
gasoline engines, diesel injectors are
located in the hot environment of the
combustion chambers. Injectors become
clogged with fuel residues (carbon, varnish,
and gums) due to the evaporation of fuel in
the injector nozzle when the engine has been
stopped. Every
time you stop a hot engine a small amount of
residue adds to the already present build
up. The more frequent the stops, the more
rapidly the build up accumulates. This
accumulation eventually reduces the flow of
fuel through the injector and disrupts its
spray pattern, causing the engine to run
lean. HD
DIESEL
FUEL TOOL
An immediate and effective approach to
diesel fuel system maintenance is the Engine
Clean Heavy Duty Diesel Fuel Tool. The Engine Clean
Diesel Fuel Tool is a user- friendly machine
that connects to the diesel fuel system. The
Tool is filled with a highly concentrated
detergent that is formulated to eliminate
fuel, injector, and combustion related
contaminants. While
the engine is idling, a mixture of the
cleaning solution and diesel fuel is
circulated through the entire fuel system.
This includes the fuel pump, injectors, fuel
rails, valves, rings and combustion chamber
surfaces, and exhaust after treatment
system. The
cleaning solution loosens carbon and other
contaminants that are removed by the units
5-micron filter or expelled through the
exhaust. The
Diesel Fuel Tool is a cost-effective way to
restore engine efficiency and cut emissions,
without removing or replacing costly fuel
injectors and fuel pumps. |
