Re-inventing the Oil Change

No one knows who did the first oil change, or when it was done.  It may be reasonably assumed that at some point in the early development of the internal combustion engine it was determined that lubricating oil has a limited useful life cycle and must be periodically replaced .

To accomodate the replacement of the old oil someone drilled a hole in the bottom of the oil pan and fitted it with a plug.  A dipstick was added.  When the oil on the dipstick appeared to be dirty or gritty the plug could be removed, the old oil drained and fresh oil added.

And that is how an oil change has been done for over a hundred years.

Does the oil changed need to be changed?  YES!

During a normal oil change, up to a quart of used oil -- highly contaminated oil -- remains in the engine. When new oil is poured into the engine, it is instantly degraded as it is mixed with the contaminants and sludge left in the engine.

 Solution: The Oil Tool.

HOW IT WORKS - During an oil service, the old oil filter is removed and the engine oil is drained. The OIL TOOL is then connected to the oil filter housing with a spin on adapter. Air is injected into the oil galleys at 35 PSI and the old oil is flushed from the engine.

To prevent dry starts, a quart of new oil is poured into the OIL TOOL canister and it is air injected into the oil galleys. A new filter is installed and the engine is filled to the proper oil level.

Oil carry over is the major source of contaminants that degrade engine oil and cause engine wear.  The Oil Tool is the solution that helps protect your customer's automotive investment and generates return business.

Engine Cleans US Patents #6,263,889 & 6298,947, detail the technology and procedures used to eliminate oil carry over.

The Oil Tool, The Fuel Tool, The Diesel Tool and the Heavy Duty Diesel Tool are the products of Engine Clean Solutions.
